ISSUE 028 | 31 January 2023

Hi friends!

I'm back from a few days on the Apple Isle, and about to head to the high country in Victoria. I'm really easing into 2023, with only one shoot under my belt, zero booked in with concrete dates, but about 25 projects waiting for all my clients to come back from holidays and start thinking about the year.

So in the meantime I'm reading about birds, doing some pro-bono work and working on my vegie garden. I'm yet to pick one tomato for the season, but once they ripen I'll be eating them for days…I just had a load of straw bales delivered to make fresh compost bays in the chook pen, and now I need to go plant some seedlings!

ChatGPT

I wasn't going to mention ChatGPT, a chatbot driven by artificial intelligence, as I thought it was old news. But lately I've spoken to a bunch of friends who have never heard of it. So here is a great article about 20 uses of ChatGPT you never knew were possible, and why you might want to take advantage of them.

Pre-fab affordable houses

Last year I started doing pro-bono work for two non-profit start ups in the conservation and social housing space. I'm putting together a list of pre-fab housing options available in Australia for some research - very high performing, affordable, and preferably manufactured in Victoria. I have 18 on my list so far, but if you know of any great options, please shoot me an email.
