How many native plants and animals in Australia do you think are on the national list of threatened species?
It's 2,118.
Of which 102 are extinct and we also have 106 Threatened Ecological Communities on top of that. Bonkers. So this newsletter is about bats and bees and birds, and how I'm doing some work with nature in my business.

Last Saturday marked a significant date in Australian history - the death of the last Tasmanian tiger in 1936. Sixty years later, in 1996, National Threatened Species Day was established to commemorate this loss.
This day now serves as a reminder of the many native species facing the same fate. Read more below about some very some easy and effective ways to help support nature and stop biodiversity loss in Australia.
House of Life is a garden located in Northcote, a suburb of Melbourne. The native and indigenous plantings encourage local pollinators and also complement the architecture. Biofilta food cubes were put In the sunny front yard to grow vegies 🥕.
