Hi friends!

In honour of National Reconciliation Week that starts next Monday, I’ve curated a list of resources to guide you in incorporating Indigenous businesses into your supply chain and deepening your understanding of reconciliation.

Supporting Indigenous enterprises not only fosters economic growth but also strengthens cultural connections and promotes social equity.

Most of these links come from the B Lab Community website - but in case you’re not a member or don’t want to sign up, I've also made a page on my website - click here

National Reconciliation Week

National Reconciliation Week is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures, and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

The theme for this year is now more than ever. The work continues - in treaty making, in truth-telling, in understanding our history, in education, and in tackling racism. We need connection. We need respect. We need action. And we need change.  Now more than ever, we need reconciliation.

Story walk experience

Yalinguth, meaning "yesterday" in the Woi Wurrung language, is an app offering an immersive audio experience that shares Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander history.

It features two story walks in Melbourne: one in Fitzroy and the other along the Yarra River in the CBD. Guided by Elders, the app uses geo-located stories and sounds to navigate through time, with audio cues and a simple map showing your location and the stories, songs, and poems to explore.
